Original case works perfect but is cosmetically a little rough. Usually these gold guitars are in far rougher shape but overall this is a great example! It weighs only 7 lbs 15 ounces. It is all original except it's missing its pickguard(you can have an identical one made at Pickguardian if you really want one) and it had different tuners at one time(see photos) There are no repairs and no damage to speak of except for some minor finish checking/flaking of the gold finish by the volume controls. The neck is an extremely comfortable C-shape and the original frets are in incredible shape- see photo.

And the built-in transformer in this guitar acts like a passive boost, so you don't really feel like these pickups are less powerful than humbuckers. more really missing out! They sound very PAF-like.a lot of natural sag along with chime and clarity. This guitar really surprised me.I had never tried low impedance pickups before acquiring this'74 Les Paul Signature and let me just say wow.

It deserves to go home to it's next owner that will take care of it for decades to come.GIBSON LES PAUL ARTISAN 1977 WALNUT ORIGINAL GOOD CONDITION MANUFACTURES ON SEPTEMBER 6TH KALAMAZOO PLANT USA PRODUCTION NUMBER 136 2 OWNER GUITAR SECOND. This is a nice, clean, and original guitar - of course there is some finish checking and signs of age but in the best of ways (it's celebrating its 60th birthday this year). The appointments are simple but it has all of the vibe you'd ever want. Two great-sounding P-90 pickups provide a classic tone that is surprisingly versatile for a variety of styles. It has a laminated maple body, slim profile mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard that is still in great shape. The sunburst finish is stunning and has aged beautifully. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, this guitar has stood the test of time. Making it even more rare, it's in primo condition, all original and has the original case. Here, we have an example of a rare ES-125 TDC in Cherry Sunburst with dual P90 pickups, a thin body and a cutaway. Through the '60s, a number of variations on the original ES-125 were produced, including a version with cutaway (ES-125 C), thinbody versions (ES-125T or ES-125 TC), as well as versions with two instead of one pickup (ES-125 TDC, ES-125 TD, or ES-125 CD). The body got wider, P-90 pickups were introduced and fancy features like trapezoid inlays were added. The ES-125 evolved out of the ES-100 in the early 1940's and changed quite a bit over the years. If you're in the market for a vintage Gibson with a unique flavor, you've found the right guitar, at the right place, and the right time.
